Mains

Pan-roasted tofu (vegan) or tilapia cutlets atop roasted tomato-caper sauce. Served with wild rice pilaf and spinach salad. (GF)

Home-cooked cannellini beans in a rich, but not ridiculously fatty, vegetarian carbonara sauce,*  crispy-tender roasted butternut squash garnished with basil pesto, and spinach salad. (Vegetarian, GF)

Slow-roasted turkey (mix of dark and breast meat pulled off the bone) with savoury bread pudding (see below), pan gravy and assorted cooked veg.

Smoked salmon (75 g in vacuum pkg) with dish of whipped cream cheese, chopped red onion, fresh dill and capers

*There will cream, egg yolk, garlic and fresh parmesan in the sauce, but it will be tempered with some stock to lighten it up somewhat. 

** i.e., the onion (Allium cepa L.), garlic (Allium sativum L), leek (Allium ampeloprasum L.), and chive (Allium schoenoprasum L.). I just learned that "sativum" means "cultivated" in latin ;)
